ABOUT ME

Improvisation is the guiding force of all my creative endeavors. I improvise in making my own songs, playing as a jazz pianist for Wellesley BlueJazz, and hosting my own show on WZLY 91.5 FM. I improvise in my art, seeing where my brushstrokes take me and what the day springs upon me to capture with my camera.

But to me, improvisation isn’t about randomness and spontaneity. It is about planned creativity and experimentation. With my studies, my creativity is paired with coding knowledge to improvise across worlds of computer science, music, and art. Because only when I know the parameters can I push the boundaries of my ideas.

I like to think of my artistic journey as a dynamic tapestry woven across a diverse palette of mediums. And each stitches and thread bridging together intersections between different mediums. It's this diverse palette that fuels my creativity, allowing me to create projects that transcend conventional spheres.

No matter the medium, my work is a constant pursuit of translating the human experience into a language that converses with emotion. I seek to tell stories: a thousand words with each photo and a thousand stories with each note. I hope by viewing my work, you may see the world through my lens and hear the world through my melodies.
