Bose x AMP Packaging Design





OBJECTIVE
Bose is partnering with AMP, a creator collective rooted in gaming, music, sports, and culture, to launch a custom SoundLink Plus speaker. The packaging should capture the bold identities of both brands, resonate with a young, diverse audience, and feel distinctly “AMP” through branded elements and color. It must also reflect the premium nature of the collaboration and its exclusive availability on Bose.xx.

    A bold design for a bold partnership, this packaging creates a dynamic split-world concept that amplifies the AMP lightning bolt in an electrifying way. The collaboration between Bose x AMP is brought to life through contrasting black and yellow halves, offering a striking opportunity to showcase design elements in reverse tones.

    As electric as the AMP branding, this design approach creates a visual effect of the lightning bolt with a yellow gradient on black. Combining AMP brand colors with Bose’s gradient approach to product packaging, this design is meant to help you feel the electricity of this brand partnership on all sides.

    Effortless • luxe • elevated

    Inspired by their merchandise, this package design approach is an elegant solution to allow the product yellow to remain a reveal upon opening the box. Using a purely black and white approach on the exterior, we’ve designed a black on black fold over design that elevates and highlights this partnership in a luxe way, yet alludes to the angled logo graphic being utilized on the product grille.
